Founded in 1997, the professional Electrical Apparatus Reconditioning League (PEARL) is a national trade organization for companies that supply quality surplus and reconditioned/remanufactured electrical equipment and apparatus.
PEARL is dedicated to developing, advancing and promoting safe electrical equipment recovery practices. Pearl is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited standards developer with two distinct electrical standards: Reconditioning (EERS) and Inspect & Test (EEITS).
The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies provides the technician with a higher standard to enhance the skills and knowledge to identify test equipment, testing procedures and most important, general safety in the working environment and recognizing NFPA classifications such as NFPA 70E. Each shop service technician has the opportunity to bring their professional development skills by becoming a Level I electrical power testing technician.
AVO Training Institute has assisted thousands of technicians around the world for over 50 years. Their mission was to provide a variety of certifications for electrical safety and maintenance. Our shop service technicians have attended Low and Medium Voltage Circuit Breaker training and have received certificates of completion. This training course allowed them to get the hands on training and instruction needed to ensure that proper and safe circuit breaker maintenance is performed.
